Ingredients:
1 box of large shells
1 32oz. tub of Ricotta cheese
1 bag of shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tbsp. of minced garlic
1 egg
2 C. pasta sauce
Directions:
Cook your pasta till it is al dente. While the pasta is cooking mix the Ricotta Cheese, 1/2 of the Mozzarella cheese, garlic, and egg in a bowl. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Drain pasta and rinse with cool water. In a 9x13 baking dish pour a little bit of sauce on the bottom, enough to coat. Stuff the shells with the cheese mixture and place each shell in the baking dish. Once all shells are stuffed pour the rest of the sauce evenly over all the shells. Sprinkle remaining Mozzarella cheese over the shells. Cover with foil and place in oven, bake till it's bubbling and cheese is melted, about 30 minutes.
Nice and cheesy!! Delicious!!
Now, It has been a long time since I have been to Luigi's and had their shells..they now have another restaurant that is a little bit closer to my hometown, but to me.. it's not the same. Clymer's restaurant will always be my favorite!! And these shells.. are my new favorite!! They were cheesy and garlicky and just delicious!!
Happy Eating!!
